We are onto the final stages of Scotch-Hoppers: The Digital Game.
The cootie catchers controllers are now prepared and ready
We coloured our background using the bgcolor object and the following number sequence to apply yellow
The whole patch on presentation mode then looked like this
When a player moved the controller in the right direction, but the next square was the same, the player would not be able to tell that the next square in the sequence had been posted to the screen. Therefore, we needed to create a panel to briefly cover the squares when the correct direction was hit. Using the Trigger and delay messages, the panel turns from translucent to opaque, when the player is correct
Before moving the objects and messages around to have it suitable in presentation mode, the entire patch now looks like this
With presentation mode arranged, the patch looks slightly unorganized
Now on presentation mode the patch is beginning to look like the final stages
Scotch-Hoppers is almost complete!
